WHEN IT BEGAN

1926

Bruce and William Penn's father started Penn Electric & Sign Company in 1926. When their father passed away, Bruce and William took over the company, deciding to concentrate on the electrical contracting aspect.

Bob Eckstein, current President of Operations, started with Penn Electric as an apprentice in 1974. His knowledge and interest grew over the next 20 years and eventually sparked a new journey!

HOW WE GOT HERE

1995

In 1995, upon Bruce and William Penn's retirement, Bob Eckstein, along with his wife, Judy, purchased and took over Penn Electric Company. Since then, Penn Electric continues to operate as a commercial electrical contractor for the Central Ohio area.
